Once Upon a Time on Halloween...

I am back with more ridiculousness! I had this wild idea. The idea was loosely inspired by a video I saw by Rachel Maksy. If you aren't familiar with her, she has a YouTube channel dedicated to vintage style and cosplay (with a few other random goodies thrown in from time to time as well). I have been obsessed with watching her for the past few months and she makes me want to MAKE ALL THE THINGS! Because of her, I have actually procured a sewing machine, and for the first time since my college costuming and makeup class, I am attempting to really learn how to sew. I'm pretty good at Frankensteining things together, and I can do simple things like sew on a button or mend a rip, etc...but full on sewing is something kind of foreign to me. Welcome Blogger! Wow...it's been a while since I've had a blog. Back in the day (and by "in the day" I mean the early 2000's) I was a blogging queen. I would post multiple times a day- I couldn't even tell you what I talked about back then but I'm sure it was angsty and probably a lot of meaningless fluff. I can't promise anything has changed. But here we are again. I really see this space as a dumping ground. This is where I will post art projects but also just my random thoughts about whatever. Some may find that interesting. Others may not. Secrets may be revealed *mysterious music*...or maybe they won't...*music intensifies*. I really don't know. My web presence is sort of like my art- disjointed and all over the place. The Saga of Apartment F Gather 'round folks, I have a tale to tell- one of mystery, strangeness, and unexplained phenomena. ...Or I'm just being overly dramatic and trying to find something to give my mundane life a little spice...you be the judge. I live on the second floor of a two story apartment building. I moved in about two years ago. At the time I moved in, a family of three was living in the apartment directly below me. There was a very young woman (I'm guessing 22 at the oldest but could have been even younger), and her two children- boys about the same age as my kids, then three and five. I never really had any serious problems with them. My only complaints mostly stemmed from the fact that it seemed the young boys were very much unattended most of the time. They would roam the apartment complex, and I had to stop leaving my kids' bikes on our porch or the boys would mess with them. Whenever my girls would go out to play, these boys would follow them around,
